Take the quizThese are the situations that most often bring hospitality businesses to us.
When the menu uses one typeface and Instagram another, with colours of its own, guests do not connect the two, and the place is harder to remember. Every new poster or post then starts from scratch.
Where there are dozens of dishes and variations, guests get lost in the list and end up ordering what they already know. On a well-edited menu the offer falls into logical groups, and attention is drawn to the dish the kitchen is proudest of.
Food photos taken in a hurry and in poor light make even a good kitchen look average. An appetising image depends on colour and freshness, so the photography is best planned together with the menu design.
The identity of a place people have loved for years has to be refreshed so that guests immediately feel the new look is theirs too. That starts with finding out what they associate with the old one and what can safely be let go.
For Bamba Marha’s tenth birthday we redesigned the whole brand, from the logo through the packaging to the posters and social channels, and the birthday campaign was built on it. For the TomYum Thai restaurant chain we gave the menu a new structure and photographed the dishes for it as well.
We design a logo and a complete identity that works as one system from the shop sign to the packaging. If you already have a well-loved identity, we also look at what is worth keeping when we refresh it.
We edit the menu around the way guests choose, so they quickly find what they are looking for and every dish appears at its best. We organise the photography together with the design.
We work with a monthly content plan and post templates built on the identity, so a new dish or an event reaches your followers quickly and in a consistent form.
With Meta and Google ads we reach people who live and work nearby, and with remarketing also those who have already looked at your menu or booking page.
We look at the place, the menu and your current materials, and listen to what your guests like about it. This shows what is worth keeping.
We show two or three visual directions for the logo and the colours, and refine the chosen one together with you.
Based on the approved direction we create the main touchpoints, from the menu to the social templates.
We hand over the files and the brand guidelines, and if you wish, we also create the posts and campaigns for the first weeks.
If you are just starting out, a strong logo and a few basic rules for colours and type are often enough, and the full system can be built on them later. Once you are present on several channels, a consistent identity is what guests recognise you by.
Yes, when refreshing a well-known place this is where we start. First we look at what your guests associate with it, and build a fresher, more consistent form on that.
Yes, we photographed the dishes for the TomYum menu ourselves. If you already have good photos we work with them, and if not, we organise the shoot together with the design.
That depends on the scope. A logo and the basic rules are ready sooner, while a full rebrand with every touchpoint is a longer job. After the first conversation we send you the schedule in writing.
Yes, Bamba Marha runs eleven restaurants in Budapest and TomYum has six locations. With several locations the aim is for guests to see the same brand everywhere, even with the local differences.
