gazduig.com is operated by Makro Agency Kft., the controller of the personal data described here. This notice briefly explains what the website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It is short, because the website only collects what we need to reply to you.

2. What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone number and company or brand name (these two are optional), the service you chose, your message and your agreement to this notice.
• Emails: if you write to us directly, the details you choose to include.
• Technical logs: your IP address, browser and request details, kept by our hosting provider for security for up to 30 days.
• Cookie choice: your decision about cookies, stored in your browser (see section 9).
• Working together: if we sign a contract, the details needed for the contract and invoicing.

We currently use no visit statistics and no advertising cookies. If we introduce them in the future, they will only run with your consent, and we will update this notice first. The website does not ask for payment details.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

• Replying to your message and discussing your project: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Sending a proposal and performing the contract: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• Security and spam prevention: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Records we must keep by law, such as invoices: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
• Statistics and advertising cookies, if we introduce them: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not send newsletters or marketing emails through this website, and we never sell your data.

4. How long we keep it

• Form messages and emails: two years after our last contact. If we work together, the records of that work are kept as long as the law requires.
• Invoicing data: 8 years, as required by the Hungarian Accounting Act.
• Data based on consent: until you withdraw your consent.
• Security logs: up to 30 days.
• Cookie choice: stays in your browser until you change or delete it.

5. Who processes data for us

Your data only goes to partners we could not work without.

• Netlify, Inc. (44 Montgomery Street, Suite 300, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA): website hosting and storage of contact form messages. Netlify filters form spam with Akismet, a service of Automattic Inc. (United States).
• Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland): email hosting for gazduig.com (Google Workspace), where form notifications and your emails arrive.
• Our accountant and invoicing system: they only receive the details needed for the contract and invoicing.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Netlify and Automattic operate in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, so your data keeps an EU level of protection there too.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, a copy of it, its correction or deletion, and the restriction of its processing. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, ask for your data in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to start@gazduig.com or send a letter to our registered office, and we will answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

You can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), Falk Miksa utca 9–11., 1055 Budapest, postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9., naih.hu or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work, and you can turn to the courts whether or not you file a complaint.

8. Children

The website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have received a child’s data without the consent of a parent or guardian, we delete it.

10. Changes to this policy
